Segmented Elegant Beauty

Hi All,

This is a platinum elegant beauty wrapped in a home made segmented blank.
The blank is made up of segments of Aspen, Padauk, Ebony, Black and white plastic inserts and Aluminium inserts.

Finished with CA, MM'd and polished with Ice Wax and a layer of Ren wax.

Comments and criticism welcomed!
( had to use the small camera and no tripod, still waiting to find a good light tent and lights. Also not used to photo software on my Mac, Still figuring it out)

That is a very nice job on the segmenting. It's clean, symmetrical and balanced. Nicely turned and finished too. The photo's nothing to sneeze at either, some diffusers or a light box to spread out the reflections, and a pair of cotton gloves for the prints, and you will be looking great.

Now we just got to get you a real computer
