I really like the metal bangles that have been advertised in the classifieds lately, but they are a bit expensive for me. I decided to try making a couple from leftover pieces.

I am happy with the way they came out. They seem pretty rugged from the fiddling I have done with them. I think I am going to give them to my nieces.

Walnut and maple segmented together with a birdmouth bit set.

They look nice, job well done. I also would like to try to make some, and I love the ones advertised on this forum, but just don't have the play money I use to have. I think I will give a try at what you did. What are the objects standing in the background of your picture?

Those are some nice looking bangles. Metal ones are ok, but all wood bangles look great!

I really like the metal ones for the durability. You can be more creative with the wood section if you don't have to worry about the strength.

Also, some materials look really good with metal accents. I love the cholla one that was posted a little while back.
