Second bowl

This is made from Azucar Huayo (peru). It is a very HARD wood and required a lot of tool sharpening, but it sure is a beautiful wood. It has beautiful and intricate grain. It is 3.5" x 2.25" and finished by burnishing it with wood shavings and then waxing with bees wax and orange oil.
The last picture has it sitting on a little piece of wood. I am working on taking better pictures.

The wood came from my local Woodcraft. It certainly is a hardwood, but the grain is exquisite and it finishes so nicely.
