My parents are about to visit (New Mexico) from New Zealand so I thought I'd make Mum a seam ripper (and used the excuse to get a couple of kits to try out)
Top is Rhinoplastic, bottom is Plum with BLO finish

I've not seen them with the metal final and tip like that. Where did you get those kits? I really like them. I wish someone would make a "retractable" type. Not sure how it would be done.
Do those have a cap?

Got them here

The tip pulls out and is reversible so that it looks like a cap. Pretty tidy, I thought the tip might be a bit wobbly (and it may become so) but now it feels fairly solid.

Very nice work. I like the rhinoplastic one best.

I made some a couple months back and found them to be a nice kit to make. I got mine at Bear Tooth Woods.

I do like that you left off the clip. I can't imagine anyone that sews needing a clip on a seam ripper.
