Sculpted with Leopardwood

I really like the Sculpted Pens from PSI. This one is wearing Leopardwood finished in CA/BLO.

Wonderful job on that Sculpted Pen. I have yet to try one, now I will. This is a better pic that the website of PSI!

looks awesome. when you were turning it was it all nasty and a bad surface and took lots of sanding, because thats what happened to me when i did leopard wood

I really didn't have too much of a problem with it. The wood is a little rough but not too much. Its just the nature of the wood. I did a CA/BLO finish that maintains the nature of that wood too (ie...not a glossy finish)

Gary, The pen looks great!! The picture is outstanding with the grain of the wood so clear. I'm glad you didn't put a high gloss surface. It looks very good as is! Thanks for sharing! Regards, Doc
