Noticed a small scratch on the "copper" primer part of the cap end on a 30 Cal bolt action pen kit. Didn't have any buffing compound so took the eraser end of a pencil and gently and carefully turned (spun) it over the entire "copper" area, wiped it clean, and the scratch is gone.
