Had 2 pieces of Trustone left from a couple of pens I made last week and also some Blue buckeye that was 2 small for a full pen, separated by pick guard. Had trouble with the finish CA/BLO but finally got a decent finish, not my best.Baron rollerball in BK/TI.
Maybe its the thumb and bandage:D.

is that white pick guard and black pick guard used in conjunction? or a guitar pick in between the white pick guard?
also, where did you pick up the pick guard material?

Andrew,Its Cream and black,Most pick gard is laminated with two colors some three. I belive you can get it from CSUSA but you might try your local music store that does repairs.I got mine from some guy named Paul in OKC, I think he also make pen vices and presses[;)].He just gave them to me he does not sell them so this is in reality a thank you to Paul.

Not what I expected to see when I read "scrap Baron". Nicely done. Those two pieces really compliment each other. A really nice looking pen.
