Scallop Sled?

Hello, I want to try my first scallop and maybe get into Celtic cross'. Does anyone have a step by step guide to create them? I want to build a sled to make it easier. Any advise would be great and thanks in advance for the replies.

Sled for a table saw? I use a chop saw on mine and I think another sands his.
