Hi,

Well I had a busy day today, turned a few of my more expensive pens.

This is my first attempt at the new version II Junior Statesman, it’s turned with a red celluloid.

Holly Smokes!! Nice job on ALL the pens. Beautiful...all of them. I was particularly interestd to see the violet BEB. I have some mounted up right now on mandrells waiting to be turned and now I know what they will look like... or at least I hope. [:p]

Jim, let's try to pick up the pace a little you're slacking off [}:)] They are all very nice but I especially like the celluloids.[:D]

No Way!!! Really!! [:)]

Dale I am so happy you'll be in the class! I plan on making it a class on process and details. I hope that it will give each person a chance to see ways to improve their own pen making and also enjoy making two pens.

You have made my day!![:D]

Jim,
very nice work on the complete set. Too difficult to choose one, so I'll make it easy on myself and say I like them all. Great work from a very productive day in the shop.

Those are some hot pens! You shouldnt have much trouble getting good prices for those. My last emperor went for $280 and the customer didnt even flinch. In fact he's convinced he got a bargin. Of course I had to agree with him...

VERY nice work!

Thanks Every One for your kind words of support. All I can say is I am so glad the choices of materials and pen kits has changed a great deal since I turned my first pen 7 years ago...I shudder at the memories of my first pen now!!
