Satin Pearl Koa Cigar

This is 1/2 of a book matched pair. The other isn't finished yet. I got the Koa blanks here on IAP and they looked real good. You can judge for yourself on the pen. It is going to a policeman's mother at his request. The other will go to his father. He wanted a Satin Pearl kit for mom. and a Chrome kit for dad.

The pen was turned on a mandrel, sanding sealer applied, sanded to 600 grit and then about 6 or 7 layers of thin CA with BLO on the pad. The CA is very thick on this pen. It was wet sanded to 12,000 and Meguiar's ScratchX and PlastX applied followed by Ren Wax.
