Ruby Slippers

Thought I'd try to get a jump on next Christmas here. Since jrc got me started turning pens it has been a blast. Only problem is, all my friends and family now want one of their own. Toward that end I thought I'd make the family each a nice pen for next Christmas. I started with one daughter-in-law who is a Wizard of Oz fanatic. I decided to call her pen "Ruby Slippers". The blank is Ruby Silk from Penn State. The kit is a Sterling Silver Sedona from Bill at AS. An Ken at Kallenshaan did a super job on the box engraving. All comments welcome.

Beautiful pen, there is a lot of depth in that blank and it is a lovely colour, fantastic box and engraving.
