Roman Harvest threading issues

Anyone hear anything from David at Timberbits regarding the threading issues with the Roman Harvest? Last I heard, he was going to contact the manufacturer regarding this issue, and maybe making sleeves or some such thing. I'm sure I could make my own sleeves for the cap but I don't have a collet chuck. (Yet!) :biggrin:

What kind of threading issues are the Roman Harvest pens having?

I've used one of the Roman Harvest threaded center bands in a Cambridge. I've had no issues with it.

Eric,

The coupler for the centerband doesn't have the usual plastic sleeve like most of the other high-end kits do. Therefore, if you put the pen into the cap at an odd angle, it won't be forced into correct alignment and you may easily cross-thread it. You can get more info in this thread:
