Roman Harvest Fountain Pen

I received a Roman Harvest fountain pen kit and decided to finally make it (I didn't have the bushings or 33/64 drill bit).

Paired it with a Burning Sunset blank from Slabs Blanks & Boards (my wife's pick - she's also claimed the pen now).

I love the pen! I also love the black background! I think you might consider a lighter colored base. I like the base that you have, don't get me wrong! I just think that a lighter colored base would do your pen better justice. Maybe a flame birch, curly maple, or any light colored splalted wood would do your pen more justice? JMHO
