I just finished a couple of Roman Harvest FountainPens and am very pleased with the kits. They are in Rhodium with Ti Gold Accents and bock nibs. I got them from Roy at Classic Nibs.

I used blanks from Bear Tooth Woods. The purple and gold one is called Louisiana Lava. I liked it when I saw it because it has those great LSU colors.

I also made two rollerballs that I'll post later.

I got excellent service from both vendors.

Very colorful, bet it won't take long to have those depart your company. Gotta say the red is WOW on eyecandy value!

Well turned.

and what is the red blank? I like it!

The blanks in the picture are from BearToothWoods, top to bottom:
Berea AA-44
BearTooth Acrylic Lemon Peel
Amalgam-Mutt Louisianna Lava
BearTooth Acrylic Rage Red

The Rage Red is available in square blanks and rounds.

I actually used three single tube blanks I got from Ernie at BearToothWoods that were just long enough for three of these pens.

I was going to comment on the nice pens but now that they are all scratched up from sitting on that rock you had better send them to me.

Good looking pens I really like the blue one better.

My swap partner sent me a Roman Harvest RB in the Aussie swap. Have to agree it is a nice kit.

Rick,

With the wind whipping dust(sand) around like it is today our rocks are pretty smooth. Thanks for the kind words. They are certainly pen kits worth trying. I don't think there are too many blanks that won't look great with them.

I posted a picture of a rollerball on some desert driftwood for a scratch free finish.
