Rod Butts

Delivered last Friday. Three rod butts. The customer is a dealer of antique fishing rod. The rods that fit these butts originally belong to Earnest Hemingway.

I will be getting more work from him. 1 week out of the month will be for other work then pens

Nice to see another penturner doing rod work. Lately, it seems most of my turning time is being dedicated to rod handles and foregrips. Nice job on those.

Alan, very nice.. one of my "to do" lists is some rod handles.. I saw some in one of the wood magazines that a guy up in WI or MN did, they were fantastic and I wanted to try... haven't tried yet, but working my way to them.. just need more shop time.
