I am going to be assembling a Jr. Retro Fountain Pen and for those of you that have made them, is there anything I should be aware of that is not necessarily obvious..........any surprises or is it pretty straight forward? Thanks....

Not much different than the Jr. Gent's or Jr. Stateman's.

If it is a rhodium, beware the durability (actually beware the 10K gold and the copper, but we all know that anyhow).
I have had close to a dozen pens lately, inlcuding retros, Jr gents, Americana rollers, and Imperials, that have begun to pit in an ugly way. I have about $100 worth of pen kits I sent back to CSA and am still waiting for the refund/credit.
