I intend to make bottle stoppers with golf balls. Have tried all available detergents in the kitchen and acetone to remove the markings/logo but did not work. Google search to use IPA (isopropyl alcohol) does not work. Help please. Thanks.

I thought people actually look for logos. Be careful using acetone on the plastic. It will melt it and make a mess.

Removing logosfrom golf balls

Thanks for the suggestions. I was concerned about trademark issues if I sold them. Most have more than one marking to hide below the stopper. Have to look for blank ones in the local shops.

I've used golf balls to make key rings and the like when i've used marked ones it's generally deliberate as a promotional item for the golf club etc. the decals are easy to remove with cellulose thinners and a scrub. If they are printed its more difficult and easiest is buy blank ones
