Red Deer Cigar Pen

This is a cigar pen I turned from red deer antler. As has been said it's much like whitetail but the antler is longer and straighter which is great. I messed up the end of the pen when I assembled it by not taking off the end before pressing. Oh well, this is my desk pen. I love the silky finish. I used glue boost, zona, novis and Renwax.

I like it! That's what's great about the antlers. The sometimes soft hues or the distinct difference between the center or bark of the antler.
