Red and Black

Made it this morning. This is a complimentary blank from Ed and Dawn at Exotic Blanks on a Black Titanium Navigator. I tried to take the pictures with different exposures so that the depth and hues of the blank, particularly the reds, would be more visible. I'm not sure I was able to display that but tried. In answer to your PM, yes that is madreperlato-red.

This is one of the new ones, where I have requested that the pearl be more "swirly". Of course, these are made in Italy and they have their own methods that are "good enough for the high end pen companies" so my input is "acknowledged"

Doc, a really beautiful pen. Your photos are excellent, the lighting is even, focus is sharp, the detail in the blank shows very good and the black background, as difficult as it is to get right, really makes the red jump right out at you. Way good! Congratulations on a fine piece of work/art.
