Rainbow Poplar Burl Revisited

I posted a piece of Rainbow Poplar burl I got back in January. It dried and I finish turned the bowl last weekend. I used Mylands friction polish on it because I noticed with other finishes, they tended to turn the purple colors in Rainbow Poplar more of a brown. I didn't want that on this piece. Here's the results...

Love the colors... My rainbow poplar pepper mill blank that I picked up only had some greens in it... but mostly just black.
