From everything I have found the 25/64 is will work as a replacement for the 10mm. Is this correct?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

25/64 is .388
10mm is .390
most 10mm tubes are .385 OD

It will be a little tighter than drilling with a 10mm, but should work. I think the general rule of thumb is the bare tubes should drop out of the blank before you add the glue. If you have to push them out, that may be a little thin on your glue bond.

I would try it. If it's a little tight you can always go with the next size bigger and ream the hole out.

Thanks guys. I will try it. I have turned my shop upside down looking for my 10mm. My wife said she put it back but it ain't there.

I bought a set of wire brushes at HF for $5. If a hole is a little tight, I just run one of the brushes through the hole a few times and it is ready to go.
