Just finished 6 cherry salad bowls with Salad Bowl Finish (General Finishes brand). I want to shine them up to look their best!
My question is can you use the 3 step Beall buffing system? Will the Tripoli, White Diamond and Carnuba wax still make the bowls safe for using food in them? Thanks for any advice in advance.

I've used the three step beall buff on some of my bowls. It really makes 'em look good, however, I had some of mine displayed at an outdoor show and just a little sprinkle of rain left some bad water spots on them. I had to rebuff the spots out of them. That was my experience for what it's worth.

You could just buff them with the Carnuba, which if very food safe. It is used as a coating on many candies, including Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. It is derived from plant material and is edible.
