There were only 3 correct entries for Puzzle #6.

Each of those entrants will earn one point toward the overall Puzzle Contest prizes. However, two of those entrants have already won an individual puzzle prize, so only one prize will be awarded for Puzzle #6.

That call is totally up to the Prize Allocation team - they may have other ideas. I can think of at least a couple of other contests where the chairman & participants might have liked to have some additional prizes.

you know - since now there's (likely) only 3 people in the running for 1st place

You never know --- some or all of those 3 may not have completed all the puzzles up to now and there's still two to go. As Yogi says, "It ain't over till it's over"
