This threader was demonstrated at our turning club this month. It seems to be a very solid machine. The demonstrator turned a small acorn box with threaded lid and body. The threads on the body and lid mated tightly. I also think a couple of the club members have them and really like them.

there are two or three other ones on the market -

Bonnie Klein was probably the first - and I think she still sells it with mounts for mini lathes (I have seen her use in on the Jet midi). I have one of hers.

They are a little fussy -- you have a limited selection of thread pitches, but work well.


Much faster learning curve than chasing threads!!!!!
