Which ones are you talking about. I know some ask to be reset to zero. Sometimes people think that the number of posts means that you have more experience, but that is not necessarily true.

Well, actually I'm not the best example...most of the time people are quick to point out my errors!! [:D] That leaves little room for anyone to think I know what I'm talking about!

I have my feelings about post counts and the elementary school stars.
I ask Jeff to reset mine.
I would rather let my work speak for itself.(When I choose to post it.)

Not to mention you have a tough time counting once you run out of fingers and toes! [:D]

I have reset a couple of post totals upon request.

I'm hoping to soon have an option in the member profile to disable the display of post totals and stars on the topic pages.
