Darren (my son) has gone through a few pencils and pens over the last couple years and being a pre teen has a habit of losing them. He lost the last one about 6 months ago and decided he wanted another one. They still use mainly pencils at school so we decided to make a pencil but I only had a cigar style which I though was too big so we modified Scott's tutorial and made a polaris pencil using his basic technique he used on the Sierra. Darren picked the blank and we were going to go with black chrome but somewhere along the line they changed the tips on the polaris and the black chrome tip I have let the tip of the pencil stick way out so we went with the chrome instead. Any thoughts or comments are welcome. Finish is just sand through MM, polish with Novus and then a coat of wax. I don't remember the name of the blank or where I got it.
