This is the pen I received from Obone this week. The picture doesn't show the celtic knot very well. I think he did a great job and I will enjoy it very much.
I wanted to post an earlier picture, but we are starting to flood in Pierre and Ft Pierre on the Missouri River in SD and I am preparing to move our office for a month or so until is subsides.
We live below a dam that backs up into ND and because of ten inches of rain in Montana, Wyoming, ND and SD the past two weeks, the dam is reaching capacity. The Army Corp of Engineers are forced to dump a lot of water in the next two months.
There are about 2,500 people forced to move from their homes. Many will never be livable after it is over. There has been a lot of sandbagging this week and trucks hauling dirt 24 hours a day to build a levee to protect the remaining homes. The peak will come in 10 days and stay that way for a month. Look out New Orleans cause the snowmelt from the Rockies will start in the next couple weeks.
