PITH out

Was hoping Soligen would be able to post a pic of the PITH pen I sent him. But apparently his photo set-up is not set up. So y'all are stuck with my pictures.:tongue:

After contemplating several dozen possible designs, I finally settled on an all wood semi-fatline ala Russ Fairfield. Got a nice piece of pine with a tight knot and set it off with my favorite mesquite. Different technique than what mredburn posted but a similar final outcome.

Dennis seems to be happy with it so that made it worthwhile.

Nice looking pen there. I like the knots, color contrast, finish and the clip is cool. I'd like a different shape for ME but, it's not for ME:biggrin: Good job on an all wood pen. You guys are forcing me to jump into it some day:biggrin:
