This is one of the pens I keep on my desk for daily use. The blanks are a variety of Chalcedony with parrel bands of alternating colors. The kit is, I beleive, a Gent 2 from Woodcraft, in Gold and Platinum and finished in CA. The initials are inlaid it white. I know your saying that the initials are upside down, and not on the upper barrel, but this is tha way I wanted them. Call it EGO, but I wanted to be able to read the initials when I used the pen. The pen sits in a holder as you see it in the photo, which puts the initials upright and at the top of the pen. C & C on what you think of this idea. Jim S
