I made this one out of left over wood that we had in the shop. This was very much a pain in the butt, but really like the turn out. Almost lost this blank when part of it blew apart where the peices were glued together. I was lucky enough to be able to save it by adding a new peice of wood to it and then tuning it down to meet the rest. Also being very careful!

I used med CA to glue the peices together, but the peice that blew up on the end I put a little bit of thick just to make sure it was going to stay and then prayed lol!

Very nice job of segmenting! I love to use leftovers from blanks. You did a wonderful job in selecting the colors with good contrast! I'd say an excellent recovery! Regards, Doc

Segmenting lookss good. Have you thought about using that combination or similar and leaving the centerband out??? your joints are good and putting one at the middle match point would give you some additional design flexibility and a different appearance.
