So this morning I was feeling pretty good. My nephew's birthday is August 1st, he will be 18. He has had me make him a couple ballpoint pens last year when I first got into turning. So I thought for his 18th birthday I would make him a nicer pen. This is an avocado blank from exoticblanks on an El Grande from WC. The funny thing is the blank has the looks of peridot, the August birthstone per my wife. I think he is really going to like this.
Next is a mesquite and resin blank I got during the Spring PITH that I just got around to turning. This is on a chrome comfort pen without the comfort grip. CA finish.
