Wallstreet/CEO/Broker, Sketch pencil, mini pens, pocket pen, credit card pen, etc. You could probably make a comfort grip pen from a 4" blank, if you used the black rubber grip.

Thanks for the replies. I am trying to figure out to get more out of the wood I cut and wondering if shorter blanks are worth cutting and saving.

I have a clear plastic tub of these cut offs (the good ones that is) and they do come in handy for things. Don't forget keyrings, letter openers ect. You just never know when a short piece will come in handy for something. [:D]

LOL!! I even save the cut-offs when trimming blanks!! I have two 1/2 gallon Mason jars full.[:D]
