I picked up some Pau Ferro blanks last week at Rockler. It wasn't primo wood to look at but you never really know what inside until you turn it open. I was pleasantly surprised by the nice pen it made. The wood turned very nicely and I look forward to making some more from this batch.

Sanded to 600, MM-12000, Triple buffed, CA-BLO, MM-12000 and double buffed. No oil was used on this blank.

Many years ago I bought some wood that had been used as pallets. Came from a wood vendor who told me I would not regret the purchase. He knew his stuff!!

Two skids of Pau Ferro, some of the nicest wood I have ever turned.

Your pens are beautiful, and it brings back many memories.

Thanks!!
