Has anyone tried the polishing papers?

I've never heard of them and ran across them. The reviews are favorable, and the highest micron compares to 8000g.
They seem fairly inexpensive, and I could see them being useful for many projects.

I have used something called Crocus Cloth. Is that what you are referring to ?

It is good to know about these polishing papers. . They seem to be very, very fine.

Had a hell of a time finding someone to ship to Alaska but Fordam did flat rate usps

They look similar to some nib polishing papers I picked up at a pen show.

We use a type of plastic sheet at work to polish fiber optics, the finest size we use is 1 micron.

Well I received the papers and cut them into smaller pieces so they would be manageable.

Tried them out wet on acrylic at a slow speed, just like Micro Mesh and these guys worked just like Micro Mesh! Final decision is for the price difference I'll be using the 3m from now on!
