The bottom blank is from beartoothwoods.com (southwestern green, the inside of the blank was painted green) and the top is from our beloved exoticblanks.com (Cetacean seas, the inside of the blank was painted blue). Both pens MM to 12,000 followed by plastic polish.

Very nice. Both of them are very nice. I have used the one from Beartooth w/o paint, but I understand why you did. I think it is opaque enough to be safe though.
