I liked the way these came out------One is banded the other is Web---both are Tru-stone.

I don't know what Poly Gem is.
Tru-stone----if I get this right-----Is a name that CSUSA uses for a product line they sell.
We really misuse the name Tru-stone just because it's easy.
Tru-stone products are different in hardness----there are some that are almost impossible to turn with woodworking tools.
Richard ---who sells Tru-stone here at IAP---breaks them done into groups and helps address the hardness question of this product.

Nice Gary, I have a malachite ready for a ZEN just havent had the guts to turn it yet....but I have turned the persian turqoise and it wasnt that bad.

I ran out of zen kits----just to many things going on right now.
I may pick them back up next year.

Oh ---here's a trick----use a skew---high rpms---don't over heat the blank.
