Paint color?

This is another blank cast by my friend Dennis. What color would you back paint it? White? Black? Silver? Green? Something else?

That looks completely opaque, so would back painting even make a difference?

That's what I'm wondering. I cut and drilled it, and it looks completely opaque to me.

I am not sure you need to paint it, but if you want to be safe, then I would go with green.

What material is this? If I'm being honest, I'm not finding it particularly attractive and looking at your end cut, it appears to be full of air holes?

It was cast by a friend of mine. He's aware of the air hole issue.

I did glue and turn it without painting. It's completely opaque.

It's reminding me of salt water taffy

It polished up nicely, but definitely picked up some polishing compound in the air holes.
