pain in the .... pen

ever have one of those pens that you swear hates you? this was mine. started out cutting it short, not too short but no room for error, of course it chipped, tried to segment, ( a task i've done many times with great success) that didn't work, the ribbons were doing crazy things while turning, couldn't get a good cut with my tool. all this whilst trying to fix my broken lathe.

and when i finally pulled it off after polishing it, 3 days later, what do i find looking back at me but a heart.(didn't get a good picture of it) it does love me.
