PA Farm Show 2023

The Farm Show was from Jan 7th to 14th this year and had record attendance and at least one of the attendees had covid, because I caught it right after the show closed.

Our local woodturning club here in Harrisburg PA helps by demonstrating turning with the Dept of Agriculture Forestry Division. We turn small items like tops for kids, small Christmas Trees and bowls.

I was making pens for the Freedom Pens project, and am just now feeling well enough to start packing them up. The ones across the top are maple, the bottoms rows are cherry ( photo doesn't give much contrast). I made 35 pens during the show, have about 15 more blanks prepped and ready to turn.

I am sure you were not the only one to catch covid. It is not gone and yes people want to get back normal lives but we will continue losing lives from this virus. Stay safe and wear a mask when doing any kind of show. It does not look stupid.

I wear a mask and don't give a rats a^& what anyone thinks. If I get covid chances are good I die. Immunocompromised with asthma.

I did wear a mask while I was in the Food Court area where lots of people gathered.
