I used to work in a manufacturing environment with one of the big three automakers. There was a group of plant managers that when they got together for their biweekly plant meetings they always had the first 30 minutes of the agenda as set aside for P&M. After the first meeting I went to I found out that my naivete re thinking that P&M had something to do with prevention or maintenance or plant management was clarified! P&M stands for **** & Moan. What they had found out is that if they allowed 30 minutes for everybody to **** & Moan - get it off their chest in other words - they could get down to real business and deal with the manufacturing problems thy had.
I personally am tired of reading along in a thread and all of a sudden have to or three people start some kind of pissing match and attacking each other. I would like to suggest that perhaps the forum administrators should create a P&M forum for those who think they need to criticize, condemn, berate and attack others so they could go get it off their chest and then perhaps can go back to other forums and add some constructive comments.
The last thread I was reading through was CA Cracking - and all of a sudden BAM! Remember - a fire will go out if you quit throwing logs on it.
It is hard to believe that we can't be more mature and considerate on a site that historically has helped and encouraged so many.
