Planted well over a hundred years ago not far from Canberra where I live. I believe it is native to many areas over your way.

Stunning blank, nicely executed. Looks like some superb chatoyancy going on there. Yeah, we have tons of Osage Orange around here (MO-USA), particularly in Osage county which was named for it.

I work a lot of OO, beautiful newly cut or turned. Too bad it turns brown later. No way to prevent that from happening other than sealing in a light tight container.
