That is a pretty cool looking pattern, especially on the bottom portion. That turned out really well. Is that an El Grande Kit? Sort of looking like one to me.

Great match-up with the kit also. Did you need to thin CA that blank during the turn?

Nice looking pen. Bois d'arc is one of my favorites. I've turned a few pens from an 50+ year old osage fence post that were really cool.
