George (texatdurango) put me onto these rollerball fittings some time ago, and I finally got around to putting some acrylic around one. It is a rollerball pen that can use a standard cartridge or a converter filled with your favourite ink.

My threads are not up to George's high standards, but it was fun to do.

Dozuki: I bought the rollerball fitting from indy-pen-dance.com. Great people.

There are no other parts. It is just a piece of black acrylic rod that I turned into the grip and a standard pen blank.

As for threads, you can use whatever you like. I used a 10mm x .75 for the grip and the barrel, and a 12mm x .75 3 start for the cap and the outer barrel threads.

The rollerball fitting is a press fit into the grip.
