Not sure this is the best forum location for this but here goes.
I had this Gurkha label that really looked unusual. It has a copper color highlight. In the image below, the blank I'm making is on the left and an actual image of that cigar on the right.
However, there are some dark spots on the label and it was creased on both sides. The match to the macassar ebony wood is good and I can get the label glued on to make the creases mostly disappear. The labels are just temporarily fastened as the blank still needs to be shaped and finished. Do you think the dark spots will detract from the look? Should I finish it?
I have other labels that would match to the maduro(dark) wood.
