Bought a Stanley 750 chisel with an abused handle a couple of months ago ... mainly because I wanted to try turning a socket chisel handle. I'm a big fan of olivewood and had a cut-off about the right size so here's the result. I can visualize how it would split so I doubt I'll actually pound it with a mallet but I do like the looks. I have other chisels I can pound so this one will just be for paring.

Nice looking tool. I would be happy to try it out for you. I will only use a leather mallet. Shouldn't take too long, a few years or so.

 Thanks for your generous offer but I wouldn't want it break on you. Doubt I'll ever subject it to more than a light tap anyway.
