I decided to do a straight cap and convex body. I'm still not sure if I like it. Let me know what you think

I would prefer to see both parts straight-sided.

But you have done a good job and the wood is really lovely.

I also love the simplicity of the Atrax, and I think that simplicity begs to be straight-sided.

I haven't yet tried an Atrax because when I look at it I only envision straight sides and I do not care for making straight sided pens. I like the pen but think you have let it swell to its max.

Yeah I'm in agreement. Also, I envisioned a different shape body and cap working much better for some reason. Who knows, maybe somebody will want to buy it. If not, i have yet another for my desk that I'll look at in disgust everytime lol

I like your pen, I'm not a very good critique, so no help really on the straight vs. curved. I know that I don't like those slimlines that really curved. To me it looks like the turner was afraid of cutting to the brass.

Excellent Pen Michael, the Consensus to-date, seems to be "Straight".
I love your Blanks, Beautifully Turned, Fitted and Finished.
I would also prefer the Pen to be Straight.
Congratulations,
Brian.

I am with the majority that says straight but I have found that there is a great variety in what customers want. I have seen people love things that I did not care for. I would guess this will still sell well.

I love the Atrax platform, and your pen looks nice. I do much prefer the Atrax with straight lines. Here's an Atrax wearing BOW that I sold back in December ($124.95 on Etsy plus another $10.00 for laser engraving).

PS I don't usually make pens in gold, but I think it works with BOW.
