"Viper" Padauk call with yew and osage strikers....

Cypress call with an osage striker.....

Nice turkey pots.. what did you finish them with... are they slate over glass?
What are your dims??

I make a few calls, mostly duck calls and deer grunts... every show someone would ask if I make turkey calls... so I finally made a few.. so far only sold one, but really enjoy the process.

Thanks oz. I use Helmsman spar for a finish. Takes awhile longer to coat it, but I like the added UV/outdoor protection. The padauk call is slate over glass, the cypress is copper over glass. Both are 3" surfaces.

Tell me - how does one call a turkey with that? I've seen the box sort of turkey calls in which one rubs a thin wooden piece back and forth but never seen anything like these.
