here is an oak vessel that I made a few week ago, I wrote an article about making it and am very proud to have had one of my images chosen for the front cover of the AWGB newsletter.

How long had it been seasoned, before Turning?

Brian: the oak was green and the vessel was turned in one session (no rough turning) the finish is woodoc 10.
The article was about how you can use the green wood and its movemenmt to your advantage and how including the pith within the piece alters that movement.
