Hi All,

I've just been looking at some pens, YoYoSpin's in particular and have noticed that he and others seem to be adding what appear to be O-rings to their pens for grips.

Is that all they are? If so, what sizes do you typically buy and where is the best place to get them? And does anyone have tips for type type of cut that should be made to hold it onto the pen?

O-rings are available in a lot of sizes. Places like MSC and McMasterCarr have them. Get one that's smaller than the diameter you need and it will stretch and seat well. Just use a half round or even a square shaped grooving tool, and groove it to depth of at least half the diameter of the O-ring cross section.

Thanks Ed,

I'll probably try to get a few from the hardware store before I order 500 of them. [:)] But if I like the way it turns out I definitely will buy them in bulk. And thanks for recommending the appropriate sizes.
