Nothing wild about the pen, just that not many people (young ladies) would choose corncob for their wedding pen, but when she works for Monsanto and he works for Case IH, there is a certain logic to it.

The pen may or may not be off his family farm, I quit sorting my cobs a year or two ago. I actually turned 5 barrels before I got an upper barrel and a lower barrrel that I was satisfied with.

The box definitely IS Osage Orange off his family farm.

Pen is a Sterling Silver Baron rollerball.

Thanks for looking - questions, comments and criticisms welcome.

that box is super work. I love the pen also. Its really nice when you can put something personal into the pen like wood or cob from his farm. makes it that much more special to them. made one once with the tip off a walking stick for the customers father.
